LEGAL ASPECTS OF MIGRATION

(Critical reflection on refugee crisis and new migration deals in the EU)

In 2016 the Faculty of Law, Charles University in Prague organized an International Conference on Legal Aspects of Migration to reflect bottlenecks of crisis management in the EU. Today, in 2019, it seems that the peak of the migration crisis is over, but what are the lessons learnt and what should be measures supported by the Member States in future to avoid failure of EU migration management? What is the future of EU migration agenda? The aim of this 2nd migration conference is to critically reflect legal aspects of so called ‘refugee crisis’ and the measures adopted at the EU and national levels in the last three years
