Job Description

We are currently offering paid Internship within Corporate Legal team with Honeywell in Prague. Reporting to the VP GC and working with Honeywell’s Corporate Legal Team, you will get a chance to learn how to manage corporate governance, general corporate, and transactional matters to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, work with other teams within Honeywell to provide training, expert advice and raise awareness of corporate matters, directors’ duties and responsibilities, corporate liability and resolve various corporate law issues for a Fortune 500 company.

You will be interacting with other professionals in various other functions such as Treasury, Controllership, and Tax, you will develop valuable, specialized knowledge, while sharing your expertise with our staff across functions. This role is part of our University Relations program, designed to help students and recent graduates launch their careers with hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for growth within Honeywell. 

Responsibilities

  • Help to maintain corporate governance for Honeywell legal entities in Europe to support Honeywell operations, including management of legal entity lifecycle;
  • Support Honeywell directors, including regular trainings on their duties and responsibilities, corporate insurance topics, indemnity, etc.;
  • Stay updated on regulatory developments across Europe;
  • M&A support for both share and asset deals;
  • Supporting corporate / business reorganizations and business transfers;
  • GEMs (corporate legal entity management platform) updates and maintenance,

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in master’s level program with a university in the Czech Republic, law degree preferred 
  • Eagerness to learn and expend your experience
  • Able to work 20 hours a week
  • Fluent English (B2 and above)
