Online workshop announcement! Suspended prison sentences are the most commonly imposed sanctions in post-communist Europe.

Albeit their dominance of the penal landscape, we know very little about their use and development. A workshop presenting findings from nine post-communist countries will take place online on 7 October 9-13 CEST. Within this workshop, researchers will present findings on their individual countries in search of commonalities and divergences both across the entire region and within its sub-regions.
