Centre for Medical Law

The Centre for Medical Law of the Faculty of Law of Charles University was established on 1st July 2007. It is involved in teaching and research activities in the area of medical law, including theoretical research and courses on medical law for students as well as the academic staff of the university, and awareness campaigns regarding law-making and the application of law in healthcare. The Centre coordinates its work with other university departments, as well as non-academic institutions and entities. It offers the elective subjects Medical Law I (fall semester), and Medical Law II and Medical Law - Case Studies.

Their content reflects the multidisciplinary nature of medical law in general. The Centre for Medical Law also provides courses for LL.M. and Erasmus students.
