Admission requirements

Please be advised that each candidate must meet these specific requirements and to submit the application form (available online here) together with all required supporting documents listed below:

1. Motivation letter;

2. Candidates must hold the university degree in law or economics and to attach the legalized copy of the document (by a Public Notary); 

Note: In case the applicant expects to receive the diploma after the application deadline, it is necessary to submit an official confirmation from the current University. This confirmation should state that the applicant is expected to finish his/her ongoing studies and will receive the diploma after the application deadline but no later than in August of that particular year.

3. For non-native speakers proof of competence in the English language (TOEFL etc.) at B2+ level, unless they carried out their previous university studies predominantly in the English language;

4. Curriculum Vitae;

5. List of previous scientific publications (if applicable);

6. Confirmation of the payment of the application fee of 200,- USD (to be paid prior to the date of application) - e.g. a scanned copy of a bank order etc.

The application with all above mentioned requirements has to be sent via email to llm@prf.cuni.cz.

Note: The notarized copy of the University diploma may be submitted to us after the acceptance into LLM programme (but the simple copy of the diploma is sufficient at the moment of the submission of the application).

Each candidate´s application will be reviewed by a committee comprised of professors and other representatives of the Faculty of Law after the application deadline. Successful candidates will be notified of their admisson thereafter and will be asked to sign the Learning Agreement.

Application Deadline:

Applicants without a valid visa need to apply before April 30th each year.
Applicants not subject to visa duty may apply until August 31st.
