OPEN HIRING PROCEDURE 

Regarding one position as an academic (assistant) at the Department of Criminal Law (the field of criminology), 0.25 workload. 

Requirements: 

• Completed university master´s degree in law and jurisprudence;  
• Ability to teach in the master’s programme of study and readiness to assist with the administration of criminology courses taught;  
• Aptitude for independent research activities and publications in the field of criminology in Czech and international peer-reviewed journals;  
• Czech language proficiency at least at C1 level is a condition, proficiency in the English language and one other international language is an advantage;  
• Organisational skills are an advantage.  

Expected commencement of employment: February - March 2025 

Applicants are to submit: 

• An application for the position (in the form of a letter or a motivation letter);  
• Professional curriculum vitae; 
• Documents proving completed university education;  
• An outline of their teaching experience and scholarly research;  
• A list of publications.
