Fire and evacuation drill

Date and time: morning hours 6. 12. 2024
Location: Charles University, Faculty of Law
Participants: Students, male and female employees

WHAT YOU CAN LOOK FORWARD TO:
REALISTIC INTERVENTION BY THE EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAMS OF THE INTEGRATED RESCUE SYSTEM (IZS):

• Fire brigade: Arrival of fire trucks, hose stretching, extinguishing simulation and, last but not least, evacuation of a person on a fire ladder.
• Police of the Czech Republic: Coordination and ensuring security.
• Emergency Medical Services: Treatment of simulated injuries.

SIMULATION OF FIRE AND PERSONAL INJURY:

• Ignition: During the exercise, a fire will be simulated using smoke or other smoke effects.
• Injuries: Masked injuries of figurants.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

• This is only an exercise.
• Your participation is an essential part of the exercise.
• Follow evacuation procedures, instructions from fire patrol and IZS members.
• Be aware of possible bad weather and dress accordingly.
• In case of unpleasant mental states during exercise, crisis interventionists will be available on site, marked with yellow reflective vests with the inscription KRIZOVÝ INTERVENT.
