This monograph is the first research in international law dealing with standing of NGOs under all the articles of the European Convention.

This textbook is nominated by the Dean of the Faculty of Law for the Jaroslav Jirsa Award for the best textbook of the year.

TYMOFEYEVA, Alla. The Highest Amounts of Just Satisfaction: Awards of the European Court of Human Rights to Legal Persons. Czech Yearbook of Public and Private International Law, Vol. 6. Prague: Czech Society of International Law, 2015, pages 23-37. ISBN 978-80-87488-23-2 (in English). The study for the first time offers an overview of the ten judgments of the ECHR, in which legal persons were awarded the highest amounts of just satisfaction in its history. Those compensations exceeded one million euros and, in the Yukos case, were even in billions of euros. The author conducts the analysis of these judgments seeking to discover the common and distinct features of the awards.

ISBN 978-80-87488-23-2 (in English). The article presents a new approach to the definition of the term ‘crimes against peace’ envisaged in Article 6 of the Charter of the Nuremberg Tribunal of 1945. The author explores the various forms in which a crime against peace can be committed.
