Docent Sedláček Elected Member of the International Association of Procedural Law

We are pleased to announce that Docent Sedláček from the Department of Civil Law has been elected a member of the International Association of Procedural Law (IAPL). The IAPL is a prestigious international scholarly association bringing together leading academics and experts engaged in the research and teaching of procedural law.

Docent Sedláček's admission to the IAPL represents significant recognition of his long-standing academic work and contribution to the field of civil procedural law, and it further confirms the growing international standing of the Faculty of Law at Charles University in this area. Membership also opens up further opportunities for international academic cooperation.

As early as October 2026, Docent Sedláček will take part in the IAPL international conference in Paris, hosted by Sciences Po Law School, focusing on current issues of environmental justice and the related procedural aspects of judicial protection.
