Seminar on Insolvency, Tax and Restructuring Law “Protecting Going Concern Value: Insolvency, Restructuring and Tax”
The Department of Financial Law and Financial Science and the Centre for Insolvency Law at the Faculty of Law, Charles University, together with MCI – The Entrepreneurial School Innsbruck, warmly invite students, academics and practitioners to an international seminar dedicated to current challenges in insolvency, restructuring and tax law.
The seminar aims to create an academic platform for discussing how going concern value can be protected through insolvency and restructuring law, while also highlighting the important role of tax law in these processes. Particular attention will be devoted to preventive restructuring, cross-border insolvency, digitalisation of insolvency proceedings and the role of tax law as an instrument influencing the success of restructuring efforts.
The programme features contributions by academics, doctoral researchers and students from Charles University, MCI Innsbruck and partner universities in Heidelberg, Milan, Ferrara, Lancaster and Sussex.
