Decision 2/97 of the EU Council came into force in 1997. The Decision
regulates the conditions relevant to the Czech Republic in defining the
participation of Czech universities in European educational programmes.
SOCRATES/ERASMUS is a programme intended for university students and teachers.
Both parties - member states of the EU and the Czech Republic - have undertaken
the support and promotion of the free movement of university students,
teachers and educationalists in order to participate in educational, study
or lecture programmes.
The Law Faculty of Charles University has made contracts with the following
universities:
The mobility of students and teachers is founded on a reciprocal basis.
Usually, the length of study is two semesters.
The Charles University in Prague Faculty of Law has prepared a two semester programme
"The Czech Legal System in European Contexts"(Pdf)
first of all for SOCRATES/ERASMUS students incoming from partner universities. All courses taught in English
have been covered by the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS).
